  3. Hi Amit,

    I have downloaded “Exchange 2010 120 Days Trial” from Microsoft.com, it’s only 339Megabytes ?

    • Hi Rihatum,

Yes, that’s the full version of Exchange 2010 (without SP1 Beta).

However you don’t have to install Exchange 2010 if you want to test Exchange 2010 SP1 Beta, SP1 Beta source contains base of Exchange 2010 with SP1 beta…

      Hope this helps!

      • Hi Amit,

Thanks for your prompt response, I was just confused that how come its such a small size for Exchange 2010 trial version, as I remember purchasing exchange 2007 and it was a 4GB download or something like that.

I assume there would be all features in this trial and not a reduced set.

        Kind Regards
Keep up the good work of sharing your experiences.

  4. If I install SP1 Beta will I be able to install SP1 RTM later on or do I need to uninstall SP1 first if thats even possible?

    • SP1 Beta (or any Beta product) is not supported to install in production environment. That can be installed in test environment for testing new features and product.

I think it will require to uninstall beta and direct upgrade might not be possible but not sure since information on upgrade path is not yet available…
